tGrowth Solutions, LLC is a technology consulting and implementation company which works with Independent Consumer Business (ICB) Owners. We help our clients clearly identify; their current technology understanding and usage, their areas relating to technology that could be implemented or improved to help the business with day to day operations, their customer service tools, as well as identifying usage of technology marketing tools, which help develop a stronger customer base as well as improving the company’s profit margin.
tGrowth was established because its founders believed that the companies that fall into its marketing group identified as “ICB” have a significant need to embrace technology if they are going to continue to survive and prosper, but the general business to business (B2B) community is ignoring this group because of their small size and most B2B’s lack of understanding of how ICB’s operate.
The B2B market is quick to talk about supporting the Small and Mid-Size Business (SMB) marketplace but unfortunately, they define SMB as businesses that could have as many as 1500 employees. On the other side, we have some of the B2B markets, which talk about SOHO that represents Small Office or Home Office businesses, have few employees and don’t work directly with consumers and additionally, many of these B2B companies lump the SMB marketplace with all types of companies, including manufacturers and their own B2Bs, within the group, which only adds to the problem.
tGrowth recognized while its clients fit into the overall definition of SMB, they are a group into themselves, which requires its own clearly identified sub-group. It is that group that tGrowth has identified as the Independent Consumer Business (ICB) Group.
tGrowth has defined the ICB group as; working with consumers in retail, grocery and service-related activities has from two or three employees up to 150, has one or two selling locations but could have as many as six; and has sales from $100,000 to as high as $5 or $10 million. Within this category, tGrowth further recognizes up to five classes of companies from 1 being the smaller clients and 5 being the largest of their clients. The class is determined by a tGrowth Technology Strategist based on a combination of the above information after they have spoken with a new client.
Recognizing the ICB group, as well as the five classes within the group, has given tGrowth Technology Strategists the opportunity to work with the business owners who have very little time to learn, implement and/or truly embrace technology but have a strong desire to create the opportunities of the benefits for their business operations, customer service and technology marketing. To accomplish this takes a joint effort between the owner and tGrowth. It is a commitment on the part of the owner to rely on tGrowth and the commitment on the part of tGrowth to provide the skills of an ICB part-time IT Director in the form of a Technology Strategist. Working together makes the process successful.
The technology sophistication on the part of the Strategist makes the process unassuming enough for the client to effectively embrace and utilize it so as to maximize benefits, or what we like to call it is a system which is “Simply Sophisticated”.
